The ITALIAN PROJECT, proposed by the Ensamble NUOVA ACADEMIA, offers:
The first concert will be dedicated to the profane Baroque music and will be entitled “Le dilettevoli arie del Farinelli” and will include the most famous arias from the baroque Operas, sung by the renowned soprano Angelo Manzotti and instrumental concerts of Italian baroque music: Vivaldi, Marcello, Handel, Telemann, Hasse.
The second concert will be realized by the execution of approximately twenty unpublished motets, from the Anthology of Venetian Baroque Music titled “GHIRLANDA SACRA”, chosen by the different and the most Excellent Composers of De Varij Motetti à Voce sola (1625). The anthology of Motets, all of superior quality, sees other than the famous Claudio Monteverdi, other lesser known composers that worked in the churches of Venice in the Seventeenth century as choirmasters and organists. In addition to which, the music of Vivaldi, Handel, etc. will be performed. At the same time they will be recording the concert in its entirety, a work that up until today has not been available in the world market.
