Italy (coordinator)
The
association PANTA RHEI of Trieste (Italy), established in Triest in 1999, is non
profit making and does not have a political or religious character. In
particular, its ultimate aims are:
- to promote and spread the interest in culture and art in all its diverse forms;
- to sensitize the society in which it operates to the need to protect and safeguard nature and the environment;
- to develop activities of a cultural, scientific, artistic, sporting, tourist and recreational character to the benefit of the members with the aim to create an legacy of knowledge and the intelligent use of free time.
It is active in the field of promotion and management of cultural events such as conferences, concerts, meetings, training courses, social gatherings, sporting events, recreational and cultural tourism. Some of its over 1100 members in rotation take part voluntarily and actively in the organization of the various activities proposed by the association. The association, as laid down in the constitution, since 1st September 2005 is within the Register of the Italian Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia as Association operating in the field of culture of the social union.
